Thank you for taking part in our ‘Comedy Night’ presented at the Alberta Theater Projects Martha Cohen Theater on July 9, 2009.
Your combination of original material and improv interaction with the audience members was hilariously funny…I received numerous comments from staff on your quick wit, and ability to interact with the audience.
By the end of the evening, most in attendance knew a little bit more about our employee’s and Business associates.

Cris entertained a large, and very mixed, crowd of about 120 people at a private party I held. He was brilliant, funny, and entertaining. I got lots of positive feedback from many of the people attending, which ranged in age from 8 – 80. Highly recommended, and wouldn’t hesitate to use him again.

…when Cris Nannarone hits the stage, the energy of the room turns up at least three notches. He has a lot of funny material, but engaging with the crowd (spritzing) is where he really shines. “I use it as a centering tool,” Nannarone explains after his performance. “As soon as I hit the stage, I just centre myself by talking about anything that pops into my head…. My act starts the same and it usually ends the same, in the middle I have no idea what I’m going to do.” By the end of his set, I not only know the audience had a great time, I also know all of their names and what they do for a living.

NIFTY FOR NANNARONE
Calgary comedian Cris Nannarone is heading for the biggest comedy festival in the world. He’s heading to Montreal next week to perform at the renowned Just For Laughs comedy festival.
Nannarone will take part in the three-day Wiseguy Show, one of the most popular of the entire funny fest, which features comics of Italian descent. Nannarone tells Page Six he is one of only two Italian-Canadians performing in the Wiseguy Show.

…Chris Nannarone from Calgary was hands down the audience favorite with his lightening wit and his routine about Tim Horton’s coffee, his love of chocolate and the difference between an Italian and Canadian wedding.
“I like chocolate so much that if a penis was made of chocolate, I’d switch teams in a minute,” he said
“Italian mothers want their kids to be awake, alert and ready to learn in school. That’s why the give espresso to a 5-year old”.
Nannarone was so funny he kept cracking himself up and what this man can do with a facial expression defies written description.

“…Just a quick note of thanks and to let you know that Cris Nannarone’s performance at our company party on Saturday was fantastic. Being our group was small and the room accommodating in size, Cris was able to mingle and interact with many of our group. With a combination of prepared material as well as improv interaction with members of the audience, his performance was very entertaining. His ability to read the receptiveness of individuals for one on one banter resulted in no one being offended or left feeling like they were being singled out or picked on. When he spoke to someone, he remembered their name, where they came from, what they talked about and would work that back into his performance 20 or 30 minutes later. As our group was a mixed crowd with an age range from 20 to 60, it was very refreshing that his use of crude or what some may consider offensive language was minimal and again, no one in our group was offended. He read the crowd perfectly and tailored his performance accordingly. I did not hear a single negative comment from anyone attending the performance and several people stated that Cris was one of the best, if not the best, comedian they had seen. Following his hour-long performance, much to the pleasure of many, Cris stayed for another hour to mingle and visit with our group. Again another personal touch that added to the overall performance. Cris made our party a success and would strongly recommend him to any group, large or small, considering having a top notch, first class and extremely talented comedian perform at their function.
Once again…thank you to Cris for helping to make our function a success.
